Ficus Benjamina, commonly known as the weeping fig, is a popular evergreen tree native to Southeast Asia and Australia. It is widely cultivated as an indoor ornamental plant due to its attractive, glossy, dark green leaves and graceful, arching branches. The plant can grow quite tall when outdoors but is typically pruned to a smaller size when kept indoors. Ficus Benjamina prefers bright, indirect light and moderate watering, though it is sensitive to changes in its environment, such as temperature fluctuations or drafts. It is also known for its air-purifying qualities and can add a tropical aesthetic to home or office settings. However, it can be finicky and may drop leaves if stressed, making it somewhat challenging for novice plant owners.

Care Tips:
–Watering: Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing the top few inches of soil to dry out between waterings. Reduce watering in winter when the plant is dormant.
–Sunlight: Prefers bright, indirect light. Can tolerate lower light but may drop leaves if not given enough light. Avoid direct sunlight as it may scorch the leaves.
–Pet Friendly: Not pet-friendly; the sap is toxic to pets if ingested and can cause skin irritation. Keep out of reach of pets and children.”
